This ode is overdue, for he’s surely like no other–He’s my best friend until the end–This has to be my brother:
His fashion sense is like butter; he makes it all look good—he sports what he wants–as he always has done—He wears things that no one ever should.
My brother is frustratingly athletic- he’s good at ever-blomin’-thing—He’s a killer bowler- he’s a damn good golfer—The only thing he can’t do is sing:
Peter and I weren’t exactly the quiet kids, instead we were quite lowdy—Pete cheers for the jazz, they’re his favorite football team–When they win we all get real rowdy
I want to take a break to honor Pete for his drinking: he doesn’t get too curled–But he drinks DosXX, his blood smells of cologne—He is the most interesting man in the world:
Ladies beWARE he can dance like a muthah—he’s spin you around the dance floor— and even dance like a bruthah
My brother has rad friends, they always let me crash—They walk The Loop–They get kicked out of bars—And they should have made my bro keep the stash:
Peter’s always down to do cool stuff–he’s such a positive note-smile on his face, he keeps with the pace–And he doesn’t get pissed when I flip the boat
I love my brother for many a different reason–he’s cheel, and incredibeel—But I love him the most during Jazz season:
Pete and I are two peas in a pod–the strangest you’ve ever seen—we’re nothing alike and EVERYTHING alike—When he’s around it’s always the best it’s ever beeen
I’m so proud of brother, sometimes it brings me to tears—he kills it in life–he attains his goals–I want to take him out for beers:
I want to thank mom and dad for makin’ him cool to the core—he’s honest-he’s funny—and what you don’t know: He’s an incredible shot with an antique wooden 4:
Peter is gifted, he’s good–he’ll take the world in one bound—he’s one of the people I can be myself around
And after all’s said and done, there something Pete you need to know—it’s amazing to know someone like you—but it’s an honor to call you my bro:
Love you Pete–thanks for being so awesome.

Cheele and Incredibeele. Love the shots of him with the Stache.
A chemist like me cant put together any combination of words to express how much I apprecieate this posting. The best I can do is say THANK YOU! Seeing these pictures made me smile, laugh, and damn near tear up. One thing you said really stuck with me, in fact it may be the best description of the two of us I have ever heard: “we’re nothing alike and EVERYTHING alike,” that could not be more true. Thanks again, you are the best.
Wow…………I miss you guys. Pete……… I’m hollering!
Rach,
Can’t tell you how proud I am of your fitting in so well to a different language, lifestyle, culture, etc. Mom had a great time and tonight for dinner we have baguette, cheese, olives, etc. We’ll be thinking of you and can’t wait for you to get back to the old USA.
Love,
Dad
