From Jackson to SLC to Season Over

Jackson Hole this season was an awesome experience. Unlike last, this season became a history of snow instead of a history of waiting for snow. I skied a ton of powder and filmed as many days as possible out there with TGR. I had a couple sweet days of sun… one of them unfortunately led to this scary crash (seen below)…. and of course that crash didn’t end my season… it was a dinky jump about a month later in SLC that would end my season?

I headed back to Salt Lake to film with Warren Miller for about a week, and that week ended up only being a couple of days. Unfortunately I broke my ankle and had surgery on it within 6 days of me being home. While I’m sad that my season is over, things could always be worse.

Shooting with Warren Miller is always great. I got to shoot with a ton of rad SLC athletes: Brant Moles, Carlo Travarelli, Ben Wheeler, Sam Cohen, Leo Ahrens . I actually had the best day of my season the first full day of shooting with WME. I dropped into Wolverine Cirque for the first time ever, and learned a new trick with Noah and Sam. . . I hit my first backcountry booter in like… three years? It was a riot. The entire day was a riot. Meant a lot, lots of smiles, if you read this: BIG thanks to Brant for all the help and calming energy in wolvy and thanks to Sam and Noah for teaching me how to do a flat spin and encouraging me to hit the jump! What a great day! – and it WAS a beautiful day:
