So while most of my days are planned around eating magnificent feasts prepared by woman-of-the-house/chef of the Blancardy restaurant; Laure, taking siests when it’s ridiculously hot in the afternoon, and taking strolls through acres of vineyards… Kelly and I work too—- our first task (when I say task–I mean something that takes a good solid 5 days of working am and pm shifts) was the pinot vineyard. Kelly and I walked up and down the rows weeding, sifting through bad vines, and raising the vine cords to enable the vines to grow further upward instead of outward for the harvest… Soooooo cool.
ps… that’s a castle in the background? … Really?
