It’s JUST THIS GOOOD!!!!
Jules…DEEEEEEP…..
Crystal-Rose gettin’ it.
Shredding with THE CHICAS!!!! (shredddddddding)
Getting serious about scrunching with Jules
Getting serious about scrunching up next to KJ for this picture. The snow over the past 14 days has been some of the deepest powder I HAVE EVER shredded in my life. LITERALLY. 4-4-09 will go down in history as the deepest day I HAVE EVER HAD…. (storm total was around 16o” in about two weeks? WTF?) The locals and the imports that have been lucky enough to be around for this last storm cycle… are BEYOND stoked. It’s been one to remember. Wasatch in the spring… and to think some thought the season was over after Feb….. WRONG.
bwaaaaahhhh!
So, perhaps we could talk a little about the fact that Utah rules. If you don’t believe me or if you’re a hater for some reason: “SCOREBOARD”… The Cottonwood Canyons have close to 100 INCHES of new snow in a week— it’s April 1st today— and we received 18″ last night through this morning? … It’s fluffy–bwaaaahhhhhy–and deeeeeeep!
That would be Jamey Parks… literally nipple deep in Wasatch pow.
He’s stoked.
This is Tyler “Chippy” Anderson absolutely surfing down Tiger Tail yesterday…. (yeah, that was BEFORE the new 18″)
He’s stoked too!
Along with Jared, the rad snowbird ski patrollers, and collaboration with Snowbird… The Levitation Project was able to have some INCREDIBLE opportunities in Tiger Tail and North Baldy yesterday. This was the first time I’ve been allowed to shred pre-public pow in Snowbird’s notorious Tiger Tail. It was un-wind-effected and DEEEEEEP. Thanks guys–yesterday was ALL TIME.
It’s an absolute privilege to shred with these guys. Jared stuck with us all day filming and shooting:
Check out the Levitation Project’s Blog…ski-style… we’ve been slaying dragons this season, working hard to put together a rad local-based film show-casing the radness that IS Utah. I chomped the bit all day yesterday before shredding pow-lines… I was pretty stoked:
We spent the day at Brighton two days ago:
Julian and Parks killed it all day– sun and TONS of pow. . . Utah …. ahhhhh……Stoked and PROUD to be working with The Levitation Project…
DEAR LORD LOOK AT THE CAST AND CREW OF THIS SPECTATOR- HEAVEN!These were the peeps that I sat with from 9:00 am until somewhere around 4?Parker Cook and I decided to start with a touch of class:
Bailey’s and coffee? Then the class just continued all day long:
Tigger and Kirsten … winning their own competition
Hand… handling the shawds n gawgs.
Messy and Rachael clearly paying the utmost attention to the comp (going on behind them). Look at the turn out:
Not-to-worry though, my spot was reserved right next to P Cook aka “Chip” all day long:
We live skiing join us!
Even got to see “bruuuhtherrrr” on the podium– killin’ it bra. Stoked for you Drew.

See if you can spot the skier. It’s Cody Townsend-ing-it looking for tranny. I joined up with Cody, Todd Ligare, Lynsey Dyer, and Shroder Baker for a sick lil’ Jackson sesh. The snow was amazing, the sun was out, and the kids were throwing down. It was my first time in Jackson Hole– and uh… not my last– coolest terrain I’ve seen in the US. Actually heading back tomorrow — stoked. For those of you that haven’t ridden the Hole> I would recommend you get out there and get after it– cause it’s sick!
Utah snow just plain wins:
Parks diggin’ a deep turn out above the rad truck. For more on what Levitation has been up to this season check out the ski-blog: SKI BLOG LEVITATION PROJECT – It’s a badass blog that’s updated regularly and always has shredding shots up and inspirational.

WHAT IS GOING ON IN CHAMONIX?? uh…. it’s snowing… and then clearing… and then snowing some more.
I’ve been out here with Dynastar and Team Focus for the Nissan Outdoor Games: check it out: enter the site and check out these videos! It’s amazing that each of these films were made in a matter of 7 days! It was such a RAD EVENT.

Big Sky Youth Empowerment and the Billy Poole Foundation take the stage in Big Sky for two days of good times! Check out the cast and crew:
A group of 17 athletes from the Cottonwood Canyons made the trek from the high dessert to the high state of Montana for two days of shredding, coaching, and just goofing around with rad kids from BYEP. So the ultimate thing that brought us all to Montana to gang up with BYEP is this woman right here:
she had a phenomenal son named Billy Poole. When Billy passed away over a year ago, this wonderful woman (Phyllis Erck) and her friends, family, and Billy’s mountain families all over the world put together a foundation in his name… The Billy Poole Foundation is designed to get kids on the snow— regardless of backgrounds, financial situations, and or other circumstances that would disable kids from getting out and skiing or snowboarding— Phyllis is shown here talking about Billy and how he had to in-fact work his butt off for every ounce of ski time that he had as a kid, how he achieved his dreams… and then how he lived them until the day he died.
AND … this guy would be the other reason that we were all out there. Mr. Drew Stoecklein organized the Utah end of things— SOOOOOooooooooo>>>>
So put on your sunscreen :

work out your steeze:
and your style:
